mapfwd.com is a free map link forwarding service that converts locations (addresses, coordinates, or map URLs) into universal links compatible with multiple map services. The service includes an interactive web interface, auto-forward redirect functionality, and bot integrations for messaging platforms (Telegram, Discord, Slack, IRC). We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use mapfwd.com for personal, non-commercial, and lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• -Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service's infrastructure

• -Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• -Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content

We reserve the right to block or restrict access to users who violate these terms.

4. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of geocoding results (provided by Mapbox), the availability of third-party map services, or uninterrupted access to mapfwd.com. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mapfwd.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service, reliance on any redirected location, or inability to access the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero, as the service is free).

6. Third-Party Services

mapfwd.com generates links that redirect to third-party map services (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc.) and uses third-party APIs including Mapbox for geocoding and Google Analytics for usage statistics. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

The mapfwd.com name, logo, branding, and service design are the property of mapfwd.com and may not be reproduced or used without permission. Generated links are URL strings and do not constitute intellectual property owned by mapfwd.com. Map data and imagery are provided by third-party services and are subject to their respective licensing terms. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in the trademarks or service marks of mapfwd.com or third parties.

8. Links and Sharing

You are free to create, copy, and share links generated by mapfwd.com. mapfwd.com links are stateless — they encode location data directly in the URL and do not require our servers to remain operational to convey the encoded location information. However, the auto-forward functionality at /a/ URLs does require mapfwd.com to be accessible to perform the redirect.

9. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, we may provide notice on the website.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.
